Therapeutic Integrated Message

This is the most common type of massage, which includes an array of massage techniques and modalities depending on your needs at the moment.

The Beginner's Massage

For those of you who are tempted to try massage, but are not comfortable removing your clothing, this massage can relieve tension by focusing on your face, scalp, tired hands, and overworked feet.

Reflexology

This treatment helps to re-establish energy flow and enhance circulation by addressing pressure points on the hands and feet that coordinate with other points such as our body's organs and their systems.

Kinesthetic Awareness through Movement (KAM)

Since this approach to bodywork uses natural, rhythmic movement and gentle traction stretching, the client may wear loose fitting clothing during the session. This is a sensory experience where the massage therapist may move your body utilizing gentle circles, spirals and curves, stretching, undulation and waviness. While being fun, playful and floaty, it allows pleasure and body awareness to be part of the experience. This is great for those who want a fun experience or desire to loosen up!

Connective Tissue Therapy

Slow, deep work that focuses on lengthening and spreading the muscles, allowing them to relax and realign. CTT can increase flexibility, range of motion and give relief from chronic muscular-skeletal habits.

Trigger Point Therapy

This is a neuromuscular treatment that focuses on releasing the "knots" found in muscles.

Swedish Massage

This is a basic type of massage with flowing, soothing strokes to release muscle tension and promote muscle relaxation of the entire body.

Heated River Stone Massage

This is a deep relaxation massage using heated river rocks such as an extension to the therapist's hands. The tension releasing techniques used with the deep heat of warm smooth river stones allows your body to experience sensations or warmth, comfort and balance while soothing sore and tight muscles. Please advise us prior to your appointment if this is the type of massage that you would like so that stones will be heated.

*Not recommended for pregnant women or anyone with extremely high blood pressure.

Mother-to-Be

Designed for moms-to-be and new moms, this is a pampering, gentle massage specifically designed to aid in increasing circulation and decreasing muscle tensions and aches, as well as helping to relieve swelling and stress on joints. This nurturing massage is performed in a side laying position with pillow support for mom and baby.

Craniosacral Therapy

This is a very light pressure on the head, shoulders, and spine that can aid in the release of restrictions within the craniosacral system. This can help to improve circulation and re-establish freedom of motion. You may wear loose fitting clothes for this treatment.
